Born on January 11, 1970, in the United States of America as Aviss Pinkney-Bell, she completed her high school at the George Washington High School in 1988. In 1991, she completed her psychology degree from San Francisco State University. Similarly, she earned her BA in psychology from Long Beach State University in 1997.
If it wasn’t enough, she also studied Kinesiology and Exercise Science (Sport Psychology) from California State University Long Beach from 1997 to 1999. As of now, she is doing her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (with an emphasis on sport) from the University of North Texas. Her Master’s will be completed in 2022.

Aviss Bell, 51, shared her vows with Coby Bell on June 9, 2001, in a private wedding ceremony. Before getting married, they dated for a couple of years. They met each other in the late 90s.

Welcomed Twins Twice
Aviss and Coby are the parents of four kids. At first, they welcomed twin girls, Jaena and Serrae Bell on June 21, 2003. While talking about his experience being a father of a twin, he told Essence,
The day I found out my wife, Aviss was pregnant I was running around screaming, dancing, and acting a fool. Then when we realized we were having twins, I thought, We’re getting the two-for-one special!

I’m raising two young Black women in America, and I know I have to prepare them for that, one day at a time. Most of all, I want my daughters to be good people who are strong and proud of who they are. And I want them to be happy.

The pair again gave birth to twins during their second pregnancy. They welcomed a daughter, Quinn, and a son, Eli Bell on December 2, 2008. While talking with Life & Style magazine, the pair said that they were trying for a boy but ended up with a boy and a girl.

As per her Linkedin profile, she is currently working as a clinical supervisor at The Autism Collaborative Group since March 2021. She is also working as a Treatment Analyst for Autism Partnership since August 2019. She had worked there during her early career as a Behavior Interventionist/Consultant from October 1993 to 2002.

After her departure from Autism Partnership in 2002 after nine long years, she joined TheraCare as a Behavioral Consultant. After leaving her job there, she established her own Kids’ Arts and Crafts Playspace, Look What I Made! in 2006. She ran her business till 2009.
Five years later, in May 2014, she joined Alpert Jewish Community Center as a Spring Basketball League Coordinator. But, she left the job after only three months.
