Daiki Yamashita is a Japanese voice actor who is best known for his role as Izuku Midoriya / Deku in the hit anime series, Boku no Hero Academia.
Yamashita, who was born on September 07, 1989, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, voices in animated movies, series, video games, and even live-action films. He is represented by a Japanese talent agency, Arts Vision Incorporated.

Daiki Yamashita Began His Career in 2012
Daiki Yamashita began his voice acting career in 2012 after voicing one of the students in a Japanese visual novel, Little Busters!. The 31-year-old secured the role of Rekka Shirogane in Capcom‘s action video game, Giast Crusher after his successful audition in 2013.

Yamashita has voiced dozens of video game characters so far. Some of the notable characters are Rekka Shirogane, Prince Cynil Evan Ingrays, Sakuraba Ryouta, Deku, Hau, and Oda Nobukatsu.
Since then, he’s given voices to some of the famous characters in the anime industry. Furthermore, he also voiced Newt in the Japanese dubbing version of The Maze Runner movie series. To date, the actor has had 75 successful voicing credits under his name.

The 5 feet 1 inch tall Daiki Yamashita has been voicing the main character of the action-packed anime series, My Hero Academia AKA Boku No Hero Academia since it’s release in April 2016.

In 2019, Daiki Yamashita became a part of the Pokemon family after being cast for the new animated Pokemon series titled Pokemon Journeys: The Series. The show was released on November 17, 2019. He voices Goh, who is the new protagonist in the Pokemon franchise who aims to catch Mew someday.
While his voiced character Goh strives to catch the legendary pokemon one day, interestingly enough, Yamashita revealed his favorite Pokemon being Bulbasaur in an interview he gave in 2019.
