

Everything You Need to Know about Redd Foxx’s Fourth Wife, Ka Ho Cho!

Ka Ho Cho is the fourth wife of John Elroy Sanford (aka Redd Foxx). Her husband is an American actor and stand-up comedian known for his work in Sanford and Son, Harlem Nights, All The Fine Young Cannibals, and Cotton Comes to Harlem.
Her later father was a successful jewelry businessman in Seoul.
Married Life with Redd Foxx
Ka Ho Cho shared the vows with Redd Foxx in July 1991 at Little Church of the West in Las Vegas in front of nearly 150 people in a lavish ceremony.

On their big day, Ka Ho arrived half an hour late as her wedding gown was so intricate. While waiting, the groom-to-be joked one of the ladies in the church he’ll marry her if the bride didn’t show up.
The Bride’s wedding dress train was so long, it took five women to help her. After their wedding, they went to a local hospital to visit Foxx’s mother who was unconscious at the time.

Afterward, they attended their reception at the Hacienda Hotel. They also visited the Las Vegas cemetry where Ka Ho’s parents were buried.
They first met in 1983 at Bally’s Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas where Cho was employed. Soon after, that they started dating and got married.
Unfortunately, their marriage took a tragic ending as Foxx died after three months of their marriage on October 11, 1991. He died on the set of The Royal Family after suffering from a heart attack.
Helped Foxx During His Bad Time
Foxx married Cho because she was with him even when he was dealing with a lot of bad stuff. He had tax problems and didn’t even have a quarter but she stuck with him at all times.
She stuck with me through the IRS mess and everything. She didn’t run like some women would do. She stuck with me and helped me in a whole lot of ways. She saw me through it all. she saw me when I didn’t have a quarter. She saw me with a nickel. And hopefully, she will see me with a dollar. I’ll give her seventy-five cents of it.
Her Later Husband Faced Three Unsucessful Marriages
Prior to getting married to Ka Ho Cho, her husband married thrice. Foxx was first married to Evelyn Killebrew from 1948 to 1951.
After five years, he remarried with Betty Jean Harris on July 5, 1956. However, after 18 years of marriage, they parted ways in 1974. He adopted Betty’s daughter, Debraca Denise Foxx, when they married.
On December 31, 1976, he tied the knot with his third wife, Joi Yun Chin Chung at the Thunderbird Hotel in Las Vegas but divorced four years later in 1981.
Accused Step Daughter of Embezzlement
Ka Ho Cho accused her step daughter, Debraca Denise Foxx of embezzeling her father’s money. She was given the administrative rights to her father’s income and expenses but she couldn’t account for the details.
Debraca was removed as the administrator in 2006, and John Cahill was put on charge in 2007. When Redd Foxx died, he left a $3.6 million outstanding tax bill.
John brought in $101,000 revenue within three years. From CBS, he received $5,000 for using a video clip of Redd, and from Hallmark, he got $3,000 for using the comedian’s image on their greeting card.
There seems to be no new news about Redd Foxx’s estates.
