Sophia Strahan is a celebrity kid, one of the twin daughters of former American professional footballer, Michael Strahan and his second wife, Jean Muggli.
Michael and Jean welcomed Sophia and her twin sister, Isabella Strahan in October 2004. She is the granddaughter of Gene Willie Strahan (former Major of the US Army plus boxer) and Louise Strahan. She has half-siblings, Tanita Strahan, Michael Strahan Jr, and Dorian from her father’s first marriage.

Sophia’s Parents’ Had an Unsuccessful Marriage
Sophia Strahan’s mother, Jean Muggli is the second wife of her father, Michael Strahan. They met for the first time in 1994 in a spa when he was still married to his first wife, Wanda Hutchins.

After Micheal divorced Wanda in 1996, they soon started dating. After three years of dating, the pair tied the knot on July 18, 1999.
In 2004, the pair welcomed twins, daughters: Sophia and Isabella Strahan. However, after two years, they ended thier marriage citing irreconcilable differences.

After the divorce, Jean was awarded primary custody of their kids. According to the court orders, Sophia and Isabella had to go to therapy but their mother neglected their sessions. Similarly, they also were missing their volleyball and equestrian sessions.
This led Michael to claim that Jean abused their daughters. Recently on October 13, their father agreed to dismiss the claims against their mother after both of them got joint custody of their kids. The twins now get to spend a week at their father’s and a week at their mother’s.
Shares Strong Bond With Her Twin, Isabella Strahan
Michael and Jean’s twin kids have maintained a very good bond with each other. If we go through their social media, we can see the duo hanging out quite often.

Recently Sophia took to her IG to share their photos during childhood. On National Sister’s Day, she wished her twin calling her “best friend since day one”.

Sophia Loves Horse Riding
The daughter of Michael Strahan, Sophia Strahan has developed a passion for horse riding from an early age. To this date, she has participated in several horse riding competitions.

Back in June 2019, she participated in the Adult Amateur Individual Championship at the Tryon International Equestrian Center. In the competition, she won the silver medal while riding the horse named, Zeus.
Talking about the competition, Sophia said,
I tried this really tight turn, and that was kind of making me nervous, but it worked out, and then at the last jump, I pretended that there were 10 jumps left, since I always mess up the last jump. But it actually turned out – it was good!

Jean Muggli and Michael Strahan’s daughter, Sophia Strahan is leading a lavish lifestyle thanks to her father’s net worth of $85 million. Her father has mansions in LA ($17 million), Brentwood ($16 million), and NYC ($2.25 million).
